The Irish Family Planning Association provides sexual and reproductive health information through clinical, counselling and education services.
We run bi-annual Post-Graduate Education Programmes in Family Planning for Doctors and Nurses. It is certified by the Joint Committee for Family Planning – www.jcfp.com – and has An Bord Altranais Category 1 approval.
The two day theoretical course is covers all types of contraception, as well as related topics such as STI’s, HIV, counseling, crisis pregnancy, sterilization, post TOP, etc. The two day course will be followed by 6 practical clinical sessions.
