Stigma silences the voices of many women and girls. The IFPA aims to facilitate open and honest dialogue on abortion and to dispel myths that stigmatise women who seek abortion services. When we break the stigma, we create more social respect for all women who seek abortion services.
Abortion Stigma Briefing
The IFPA abortion stigma briefing pack highlights key themes and brings together resources relating to abortion stigma. It draws on real-life examples of women's experiences from the IFPA’s publication, The Irish Journey, to articulate the harms of abortion stigma in Ireland. Download the briefing here.
