Contraception Advice

Contraceptive options have never been greater for women and men with more than a dozen options available here in Ireland. With such a variety of methods available there is something to suit most people. During your consultation IFPA doctors will take you through all options to help you find the best contraceptive method for you.

Options include a number of forms of the hormonal contraceptive pill. Choices for those who don’t want to take a pill include contraceptive patches, vaginal rings, implants, diaphragms, condoms, injectables and intro-uterine devices and systems and more permanent methods such as vasectomy.
